SANDON, originally a Victorian residence, is now
a spacious welcoming guest house situated close
to the old picturesque market square of Keswick,
in the heart of the English Lake District and is
only minutes away from the shores of lake Derwentwater.
The majestic Skiddaw mountain range, which rises
to 3,054 feet, dominates the town and provides a
fitting backdrop for a holiday within the Lake District
National Park.
All bedrooms are furnished to a high standard
and are en-suite (except the single rooms). Each
room has a colour television, radio alarm clock,
hairdryer, beverage maker, shoe cleaning and sewing
facilities and an iron with ironing board is also
available. We also have a secure cycle store for
those wishing to enjoy the surroundings on two
wheels rather than two feet.
